- At the end when Perkins is looking down into the water, he will mumble "This ain't over Markus." If Markus is dead or gone, Perkins will say "This ain't over...".
- This is the first chapter that can feature all three playable characters and marks the first time Markus meets Kara and Connor.
- In this chapter, Kara and Connor do not actually meet face to face (though they are in the same room together at one point), but they meet Markus at separate times.
- Hank is the only main character who will never make an appearance in this chapter regardless of the player's choices.
- Simon and Hank are the only main characters that cannot die in this chapter (assuming Simon did not die earlier, and Hank, as noted does not appear at all).
- If Markus is not there, then Josh's survival is based on whether Connor dies before seeing him.
- If deviant Connor dies here or in the next chapter he is automatically set on his machine route.
- Previous or current residents seem to have marked a part of the holds wall with a series of "RA9"s.
- Markus will reflect on humanity's stupidity in one version of his conversation with North. ("They've been slaughtering each other for centuries, over ideals and what god to worship.") Thus showing what Carl taught him about how humans think is true.
- Normally, if Markus survives the attack on Jericho, the ship will always explode. However, there is one combination of choices that leaves it intact and him alive.
- Markus is exiled from Jericho but returns and manages to escape into the water.
- Connor becomes deviant but dies after seeing Lucy and before arming the explosives.
- The only way to have Alice leave Kara before Connor confronts Jericho's leader is to have not unlocked Alice's memory box in A New Home and when Kara chooses "Distant" when rejoining Alice, Alice's relationship status must be lowered to Distant.
- It is possible to have Connor see three different people leave the captain's room.
- If Markus is Leader, Connor will watch North leave.
- If Markus died in Freedom March and North is leader, Connor will watch Josh leave.
- If Markus is unpopular, banished, and North becomes Leader, Connor will watch Markus leave.
- If Markus is shot prior to reaching the hold, when North is shot during the escape attempt Markus will be unable to save her. If the player chooses to save North, Markus will attempt to charge and help her but he will stop himself, seeing his vital systems are damaged and he is forced to watch North die.
- If Connor chooses to remain a machine in this chapter, his death is near guaranteed, with the only way of Machine Connor leaving Jericho alive is if he kills Markus in the explosives room. Since you control Markus in this scene, it’s much more likely that Markus will kill Connor instead. If Markus is already dead or ousted, Machine Connor is guaranteed to die as all outcomes for him end with him being shot by the soldiers. North is guaranteed to survive if Markus isn’t present or dies earlier in this chapter, and so Machine Connor will always fail his mission.
- This means it is impossible for Connor-51 and Markus to fight in Battle for Detroit in the revolution route, as the only way Machine Connor can survive is by killing Markus.
- if Markus Connor and Kara die during the invasion before the final chapter, the game will not unlock the Kamski's ending forcing the player to continue the story directly without Markus and Kara, except to Connor who returns to remain as a machine or having stay permanent.
