Detroit: Become Human Wiki

Phileas is an android, of an unknown early model, in Detroit: Become Human.

Biography[]

Some androids were discarded so long ago that they have degenerated to the point where it is impossible to tell what their original function was.[1]

Markus encountered Phileas in a dump of disused androids. Clearly deviant, Phileas recognized deviancy in Markus also and urged him to find “Jericho” – ‘a place where our kind live in freedom’- before shutting down permanently.[1]

Phileas seems stuck in junk pile of mud and androids. He carried a key to locate Jericho, which is copied to Markus and the latter uses it to find the freighter.[2]

Notes[]

  • Like Daniel he is one of few characters set to always die.
  • He may appear in a flashback if Markus mentions the trail in Jericho.
  • Phileas was originally intended to have a bigger role in the game and earlier drafts shown in the files suggest that he was originally intended to still be alive, at some point taken into custody by Connor and could be interacted with in a cell.
    • Another thing to note about his earlier role was that his dialogue depicts him with this saintly warrior type of personality.
