The operator is a human in "KARA" (Tech Demo). He is the employee of CyberLife who tests Kara in her initialization process while assembling her. He is the one who gives her the name. When Kara exhibits consciousness, he decides to disassemble her but gives up when she shows fear.

- His actor Tercelin Kirtley is one of the long-time collaborators of Quantic Dream. He performed in every Quantic Dream game since Heavy Rain. In Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, he played multiple roles. In Beyond: Two Souls the developers used his likeness on one of the characters he portrayed named Jimmy.
